Speedy Recovery...

Hey all,

I'm going under the knife sometime on friday for a hernia operation (too much training/sport apparently causes injuries. Who'd have guessed?). The operation itself is fairly simple (as operations go anyway) so i'm not so stressed about that. However the timing for recovery is going to be pretty tight. If all goes well, I play Adelaide. If there are complications or i'm slow to recover i miss it.

I could have delayed the surgery, but then i would have had the risk of missing Prague if there were complications, and as much as i want to play nationals i know which tournament i'd choose to miss if i have to miss one.

Anyway, so prayer for a quick and complication free recovery would be greatly appreciated.

Wow...haven't been on RV for so long...life has been insanely busy these last three weeks.

To be honest, i don't think the doc really wants me to play...BUT...i've been back at training for the last two weeks and everything feels fine. Went in for a check up on Tuesday and nothing has been damaged as far as he can tell. I'll try and take it as easy as i can, but it is Nats, so i'll leave it on the field if i need to.

Either way i'll be there.
